Introduction

Welcome to El Metro (the "App"), Cairo's transit guide application. At Sadeam, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This policy explains how we handle your data when you use the App.

Data We Collect

The App is designed to work primarily offline. We do not collect any personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number. The App does not require account creation.

Data we may collect:

• Usage Analytics (Firebase Analytics): Anonymous data about how the app is used, such as most visited screens and most searched routes.
• Location Data: When using the "Nearest Station" feature, the App requests access to your location to identify the closest station. This data is processed locally on your device and is not sent to any server.
• Device Identifiers: Anonymous identifiers may be collected for advertising and analytics purposes only.

Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements:

• Banner Ads: Displayed at the bottom of certain screens.
• Interstitial Ads: Displayed when navigating between certain screens.

Google may collect data for ad personalization purposes according to Google's Privacy Policy.

Data Storage

All usage data (favorite stations, language preferences) is stored locally on your device. Route and station data is embedded within the App and works without an internet connection.

Push Notifications

The App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to send notifications about service updates and transit news. You can disable notifications from your device settings at any time.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal information, there is no personal data to delete or modify. You can:

• Revoke location permission from your device settings
• Disable notifications from your device settings
• Opt out of ad personalization via Google settings on your device
• Remove all local data by uninstalling the App

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through an app update.
